Reflexology and Reiki Tunbridge Wells
I have come to love the combination of reflexology and reiki since moving to Tunbridge Wells. We live in a world of energy that nourishes and maintains all living things. When this energy flows uninterrupted there is a balance and harmony around us and we experience a sense of wellbeing. Reiki is a tradition that is open to any religion.
I came to reiki very unexpectedly as I was totally uninterested in such a notion for the majority of my life. When someone first suggested doing a course in reiki I was adamant I was not interested. It was during a reflexology treatment swop with a colleague I became intrigued.
Whilst she was giving me reflexology, I noticed her hands were really hot. She explained it was the reiki coming through, a healing energy. Well, that was it….. because I experienced something I had to find out more. As with us all we can be sceptical until we actually feel something ourselves.
This started me on my reiki course and I loved it at once. The people I met were so interesting and talked of fascinating topics to do with life, the universe all sorts of things that left me wide eyed and wanting to know more. I had an overwhelming sense that I needed to catch up on all their knowledge. Consequently, I did a Reiki I and II course and a hands on healing course and then was attuned to Master level.
Mind Body and Soul
I have found that reiki has such a positive effect on people that I like to offer a few minutes after a treatment, if the client is interested. It feels as if the mind body and soul connect and people can feel a deep soothing calmness. Reiki is very supporting and a healing energy is believed to go to areas where it is needed.
